Kate graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023. As a new graduate veterinary surgeon, she hopes to bring some newer perspectives to the board and bring the voice of students and new graduates into the discussions and decisions we have.

The veterinary profession has come a long way in the nearly seven years since the first major study came out on veterinary mental health, wellbeing, and burnout. The stigma around mental health issues has lessened, more people who need it are seeking help, and more resources are available to create
